My wife Barbara and I began working with Tiffany Hill in May 2020.  Octogenarians, we have flourished under her care, working with her twice a week.

Tiff, as we call her, spends an extraordinary amount of time preparing for our workouts, changing her routines depending on our health and physical needs.  

​

Because of our different capacities, my wife and I each have separate sessions.  Barbara was in frail health (heart, lungs, osteoarthritis), and Tiff worked to improve her strength and to prevent future deterioration.  

​

In stronger health, but bedeviled by osteoarthritis and a problematic knee replacement, I have had different needs from Barbara.  In response to these needs, Tiff has worked to strengthen my lower body, as well as my upper body.  Currently, she is focusing on relieving carpal tunnel symptoms.

Tiff is sympathetic, kind, and pleasant, making our routines pleasant experiences.  Even though I work hard and am tired at the end of my routine, I always feel physically and emotionally better, as did Barbara.

I first contacted Tiffany shortly after I got engaged in December of 2015 and have been online training with her every week since. I have tried multiple traditional trainers at my local gyms, and it was never a good fit. I can honestly say the best and most effective experience I have ever had with a trainer, is doing online training with Tiffany. It is extremely difficult to find a fitness specialist who is qualified, professional, attentive, and detail-oriented, but also makes working out fun, and I have found that in Tiffany. I first met Tiffany when my sister, who had been working with her for a couple years, suggested that I try her out. I had been working out pretty seriously for a couple years, but after my first session with Tiffany, I was wiped. Before I met Tiffany, I went to the gym and only used either the bicycle or treadmill, as I did not know how to use other gym equipment. 

 

During one of my visits to the gym, I noticed Tiffany, with a clipboard in hand, monitoring the progress of one of her clients. I observed Tiffany for a while and was impressed with her training techniques. I spoke with Tiffany, an exercise physiologist, regarding training sessions and became her client in April 2015. My objectives were overall body toning, weight loss, learn proper execution of the gym equipment and to make this a lifestyle change. My training sessions have been amazing. Tiffany is a true professional, with an abundance of energy and a positive attitude. Before you embark on a training program, Tiffany performs a fitness assessment and uses the results to prepare a tailored exercise plan for you. She performs the assessment annually and compares results with prior years. Your progress is also monitored on a monthly basis when weight, measurements, and body composition are taken. Tiffany analyzes the results and issues progress reports on a monthly and annual basis.  While exercising, Tiffany is always alongside you monitoring your progress.

 

Tiffany's best attribute is that she listens to her clients. When there are aches and pains associated with a particular exercise, she documents the information, researches the cause of the discomfort, and incorporates exercises to correct the discomfort or suggest you see a doctor.

 

I enjoy the time I have spent with Tiffany and the progress I have made and have every intention of continuing my training with Tiffany.

I have been working with Tiffany for about a year, and I have no doubt that I found the perfect exercise physiologist for me. My daughter was the first to work with Tiffany, and after each session, she would say what a great workout she had. I was having dizziness for nearly a year, and the doctors could not find a reason for it. I was hesitant to exercise because lowering my head made the symptoms worse. Tiffany helped me overcome my fear of exercising and working out with her has helped my condition. At 53, she has also helped me manage the challenges I face from menopause. 

I am active but did not exercise, and the idea of working out at a gym did not appeal to me. Now, I look forward to our sessions because Tiffany makes my workouts enjoyable and productive. My joint flexibility and energy have improved, and I feel emotionally and physically better since working with her. She is attentive to my limitations, and I always feel that she has designed the workout just for me. She gave me handouts showing each exercise in sequence and a handy, laminated card with information on the exercise machines I need for my workout.

 

Her assessment skills are unbelievable. She not only writes a detailed evaluation of my progress but does so with enthusiasm and an encouragement that makes me want to do all I can to improve. She is knowledgeable, researchers when she needs to and always makes a clear and valuable assessment.

I decided to start training with Tiffany after seeing her in action, working with clients in the gym where I was working out at the time. I saw how prepared she was for each session, how attentive she was, and professional. That was almost two and a half years ago, and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

 

I’m a 61-year-old single mom to an 8-year-old daughter (I adopted, that’s how), working full time as an attorney. Working with Tiffany has improved my mood and energy level more than I could have imagined. I see Tiffany twice a week, at 6 a.m., sometimes at 5:30 a.m., and even at those hours, I look forward to every session. Somehow, even the hardest, most intense workout is nurturing and fun, because of Tiffany, the kind of person she is and what she puts into everything she does.

 

Tiffany started out by doing a thorough assessment, which she does annually to track progress, and identify and address any weaknesses or imbalances in preparing workouts going forward. Weight, including muscle to fat ratios, and other body measurements are monitored monthly. My lower back issues, that I’ve had for the past 30 years, are taken into account in every workout, as are occasional knee and ankle flare-ups. For instance, for the past week or two, we’ve been doing workouts that include exercises to strengthen the muscles around the knees.

 

I love the exercise prescriptions Tiffany prepares so I can workout by myself on the days I don’t see her. So far, I have 23 workout cards, some “push”, some “pull”, others “full body”. A couple are “corrective,” specifically addressing issues that she’s identified during assessments, like excessive forward leaning while squatting or addressing weak muscles in my body. The latest exercise prescription is a knee-strengthening workout she created the day after I told her my right knee was bothering me.

 

Just hanging out with Tiffany is fun, even as she makes me sweat and keep going past what I thought was my limit. The time flies by, as we chat about all kinds of things, not just fitness. But when we do touch on anything about fitness, she immediately follows up with answers and links to interesting articles and studies. For instance, about how hard it is to lose weight and maintain weight loss when you’re older. Or, most recently, how much caffeine intake is safe (400 mg max for a healthy adult).

 

I could go on and on, but I still wouldn’t do justice to how Tiffany has improved my life. If she moves away, she’ll still have a lifelong client because I’ll be seeing her online!

Tiffany is the best! I have worked out with several trainers before her, but she is truly in a class of her own. Because of her education, she not only knows the proper form you should be doing but has specific targeted plans to help you correct your form.

I have been working with Tiffany for just over a year now. A friend of mine raved about her and recommended Tiffany to me. Hiring Tiffany was one of the best decisions I made in 2022. I like that she varies the routines and explains what muscle group each exercise targets. I had never used an exercise physiologist before, so I wasn’t sure if I would like the routines.
